Technology, however, is simply the means to generating accurate, efficient and effective documentation. This requires rigorous management, checking, coordination and training.
The Cox Group’s offices each have directors and associates appointed whose fundamental role is documentation supervision. A key aspect of the role is consultant coordination which, in an era of demanding timeframes, has become the most critical issue for all forms of development.
It is tempting to discuss the negatives of current documentation standards as insufficient or late documentation is the constant bane of clients and project managers throughout the industry, particularly under present market demand. However, The Cox Group’s solution is one of not taking on excessive quantities of work, coupled with applying consistent documentation standardization which we are able to do across all project types. We believe that this strategy must be a fundamental reason for our firm’s winning of the BRW Australian Client Choice Awards in 2007.
